I love the PM character. The double-barrel surname suggests his private-school background and breeding. He feels like a hybrid of Gordon Brown and Boris Johnson which is exactly the sort of character you want in a contemporary satire because the audience need to be able to identify with the character from the start. This is why fairly stereotypical characters work well in comedy. The PM's adviser compliments the PM well which, again, is good because we need a clear distinction between them and also a reason for the PM to listen to him (he reminds him of his younger self). I like the humanity of the characters and I think you have outlined them very well. Good luck with getting your friend involved in the acting. That is another skill of a good producer!
